Update

Snow Conditions

9 inches over the past 24 hours. 16 inches over the past 72 hours.

Grand Targhee's official snow report shows 130 inches so far this season and a base depth of 63 inches. 

Our internal analysis has the snowpack currently sitting at 91% compared to the 30-year average.

Thursday

Dry conditions quickly prevailed through Wednesday night and we'll now be in for partly to mostly sunny skies and chilly temps on Thursday. Temperatures will start near 0F on the mountain and only climb into the low teens so bundle up and enjoy the leftover pow!

Friday - Monday

Following the break on Thursday and into Friday, we'll be watching for another quick shot for snow on Friday night and into Saturday morning. Look for anywhere from a dusting to 1-2 inches.

Dry conditions will then return on Sunday and continue into Monday. Daytime highs will climb into the low 30s, with overnight lows in the teens. 

Later Next Week

Above-average temperatures but additional chances for storms will be the works beginning on Tuesday. We'll be watching Tuesday and into Wednesday for round #1, followed by round #2 on Friday and into Saturday, December 22nd.
