100% open. Latest updates.

Saturday - Tuesday

After a break in the storms on Thursday and Friday, it's time to get the snow machine ramped back up and this is how I feel when looking at the forecast through Monday...

Light to moderate snow will begin to fall through Saturday afternoon ahead of the first round of very heavy snow on Saturday night. Look for 6-12 inches in Sunday morning's report and delicious turns for first chair.

More moderate snowfall will then continue through Sunday ahead of yet another wave of very heavy snow on Sunday night. The turns on Sunday will be good but the turns on Monday morning will be even better as yet another 8-14 inches stacks up for Monday morning's report. Periods of moderate to heavy snow will follow through Monday. Overall, we could be looking at multiple FEET through Monday. Get out there and enjoy the DEEP!

Tuesday & Beyond

Much warmer temperatures will begin to work into the region by Monday night and Tuesday and I think this will turn off the powder machine. We could still see light amounts fall through the middle of the next week but nothing major at this point.

Looking ahead to early March, there's no sign of the storm train letting up. The first in a series of storms will likely push into the region over next weekend, March 2nd and 3rd, followed by even more through at least the first 10 days of March.

As always, keep an eye on our 1-10 day forecast for the Ghee and right here for the latest updates.
