2019-2020 Season Recap

Update

Grand Targhee ceased operations for the remainder of the 2019-2020 winter season on Sunday, March 15th. Uphill traffic is open as of Wednesday, March 18th. Click HERE for the full closure notice.


Grand Targhee will officially end the 2019-2020 season with 386 inches and 10 double-digit 24-hour snow totals.

Our snowpack ended at 107% compared to the 30-year average, with October, January, February, and March all coming in above-average.

Sam Collentine is the Chief Operating Officer of OpenSnow and lives in Basalt, Colorado. Before joining OpenSnow, he studied Atmospheric Science at the University of Colorado, spent time at Channel 7 News in Denver, and at the National Weather Service in Boulder.
