Update

Opening Day is upon us! Teewinot, Apres Vous, and the Teton Lift will be open on Friday. Bridger Gondola, Sweetwater Gondola, Casper, and Marmot lifts will open tomorrow. Click HERE for more details.

Our latest weather-maker is currently making its way into the Tetons on Friday morning, with snow levels hovering near 8,000 feet. This will drop down to 7,000 feet on Friday morning so we are looking at a rain event for the base area and valley floors, while periods of moderate snow fall across the upper elevations. Mid-mountain highs will be in the 30s. We'll bump today's forecast up to 2-5 inches before the storm clears out on Friday afternoon. Scattered showers will linger through Friday night as overnight lows drop into the 20s.

Balmy temperatures and mostly dry conditions will be the story this weekend. I can't rule out a few sprinkles and flakes here and there but nothing expected in terms of accumulations. Temperatures will be in the 30s on Saturday and into the upper 30s to low 40s on Sunday.

We then have a lot going on next week in regards to our temperatures, chances for snow, and overall pattern. Our first chance for snow will arrive by Monday morning and bring us maybe 1-4 inches through Monday night. This will be followed by cooler temperatures and yet another shot for snow on Wednesday and Thursday. Looking further ahead, the models are all over the place in regards to the first weekend of December but "something" will be in the works.

Thanks for reading and let it snow!
