Foot+ By Monday Morning...

Update

Sunday:

A final storm moves in this afternoon last through tonight.  Strong winds of 70+ mph up top could affect upper mountain lift operations.  Heavy snowfall this evening with the cold front and snow showers overnight tapering off Monday morning.

We could see 8-12 inches of snow at the base and 12-16 inches on the mountain by Monday morning.

MLK Day:

For Monday we should see clearing skies but cold with highs only in the 20's on the mountain.  Winds could still be gusting 40-50 mph on the upper mountain so it will be a cold and breezy day.

Long-Range:

We are expecting the dry pattern starting Monday to continue at least through the 29th as high pressure builds in off the West Coast blocking storms.  Temperatures should warm into the 30's on Tuesday and then the 40's later in the week.

Watching the 1st week of February for a pattern change that could bring a return of storms.
