Mostly Sunny with Chances of Showers...

Summary

The sunny weather returns starting Thursday. Sunny and warming through the weekend and into early next week. Keeping an eye out for a few afternoon showers possible Tue-Wed afternoon. Then possibly more precipitation during the last week of April.

Update

Snowfall Report:

The snow showers that moved through on Wednesday dropped a fresh 1-2 inches of snow on the mountain.

Thursday - Weekend:

High pressure builds back in as the low responsible for snow showers moves east Thursday. Sunny skies return with highs warming into the 40s at the base and 30s on the upper mountain.

A system moving down from the north well to our east could bring in enough moisture for a few afternoon showers Friday and maybe Saturday. It will also bring gusty north winds Saturday with ridgetop winds gusting 30-40+ mph up top.

Sunny skies between showers and then Sunday into Monday should be completely dry with sunny skies. Highs warming into the 40s on the mountain and 50s at the base.

Long-Range:

High pressure may continue over the West Coast into early next week. We could see another weak system move through Tue-Wed that could bring a return of afternoon showers, but overall it looks fairly dry through the end of next week.

We are still watching for a potential pattern change that could bring storms into CA during the last week of April. I'll post again after the weekend with an update on that.
