End of the Line

Summary

This week will feature warming temps through Thursday with a cool down over the weekend with a slight chance for showers on Saturday. Winds will ramp up as well going into the weekend but overall it will be a mellow week weather wise.

Short Term Forecast

Well... here we are. The end of the season. The end of the line as they call it... and it's shaped up to be a great final week on the mountain.

The Final Week

Temps will be rising through Thursday with highs in the high 50's and even low 60's at the base with upper 40's and low 50's across the mountain. We should see mostly sunny skies through Thursday.

A few clouds come into the region by Thursday into Friday but overall the sensible weather remains the same.

Winds will also pick up a bit starting Thursday with gusts into the 30's over the top of the mountain and then Friday 30 - 45 MPH gusts are possible over the summit. Winds should calm a bit into the 20's by the weekend though.

Saturday is likely to be a cloudier day as a trough approaches the West Coast as it did this past weekend. There is a chance for rain showers, but it's not likely we'll see anything measurable precipitation wise. The system should stay to the North and will bring a little cooling with temps into the mid to low 40's across the mountain.

Sunday could also stay on the cloudier side but be a little warmer by a few degrees.

Overall it will be a great final week for skiing and riding on the mountain.

Unless something changes drastically with the forecast this will be my last update of the season. We've had a great season together and I can't wait for the snow to start flying again next fall. So till the next one.... Mike out.
