Here comes new snow, but not much

Summary

Expect a little sunshine early in the day on Monday, and then the clouds will begin to increase later in the day as a weather system moves in from the southwest. Expect the snow to start in the Cascades by Monday evening and continue into Tuesday.

Short Term Forecast

The snow will fall tonight and continue off and on through Tuesday night, with partial refills through the day on Tuesday (1” – 5”). The skiing will be great, but will also be good on Wednesday as the snow showers decrease and pretty much end. Snow showers will be seen again on Thursday as a weak system moves in, but amounts will be minor (trace - 3")

Extended Forecast

Friday into the weekend will see a mix of clouds and sunshine, with a few flurries possible. No major snowfall is expected.
