New snow - but warmth coming soon

NW Open Snow Headlines

Morning Powder – Crystal, Whistler and Bachelor

Then, snow level rises

NW Open Snow Inside Story

Expect new snow this morning. Crystal (Green Valley) is my pick, with the new snow of yesterday and snow already falling this morning. Hit it early. It’s POWDER. The snow level will be rising from 4500ft this morning to 6500ft this afternoon as morning snow turns to heavy, damp snow, and wetter flakes fall from the sky on the upper slopes, with rain/snow below 5000ft by afternoon. The temps are already on the rise this morning, but still cold enough for snow right now.

NW Open Snow Extended

Thursday and Friday expect spring skiing with warm, partly sunny skies. By later Friday and early Saturday a weak system comes in with a 5000 - 6000ft snow level and rain/snow mix. Expect clearing later Saturday and Sunday for more spring skiing.
