Pause today, then new snow

Summary

Expect mostly cloudy skies today with a low chance of snow. The snow level will be 3500 ft. A robust weather system will move in tonight with a snow level of 4000ft. That means a rain snow mix on the lower slopes, with snow on the upper slopes.

Short Term Forecast

The snow level will drop to 3000 ft on Friday, with 3-7” of new snow. Looks like a good day to make some turns. Light snow will continue into early Saturday.

Extended Forecast

Snow level will cool to 2500 ft on Saturday and Sunday with a break later Saturday to early Sunday. However, the snow will be increasing later in the day on Sunday. There will be an unsettled pattern next week with more snow at times and modest snow levels. So, expect continuing refresh, but not major snowfall.
