Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

Thanks for reading the Steamboat Daily Snow during the 2017-2018 season!

Here is how the snow fell by month, compared to average:

November: -11%

December: -33%

January: -30%

February: +1%

March: +27%

In other words, it was an incredibly slow start, then the atmosphere gave us more hope later in the season, and we ended on a high note.

Even with well below-average snowfall for the season, the mountain was open, we enjoyed powder days, and we had fun sliding around on snow with friends and family.

I hope you have a fantastic summer, and I’ll see you back here in November when I start writing the Steamboat Daily Snow for the 2018-2019 season.

Thanks so much for reading and for your support of myself and OpenSnow.com!
