Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
Weather Pattern
We’ll have two storms this week, both taking a track south of Colorado. While this track isn’t favorable for intense snow at Steamboat, we should still see light snow with a few chances for more intense snow.
Tuesday
Light showers brought 1 inch of accumulation on Monday and Monday night. Expect light snow showers and maybe some sunshine during the day, then as the storm moves to the east of Colorado, we’ll see a favorable wind direction from the west and northwest on Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening, and this time will be the best chance for a couple inches of snow.
Wednesday
We might have a few fresh inches in the morning and then the next storm will approach with any breaks of sunshine maybe turning to snow showers.
Thursday
More of the same. Some snow showers and some sunshine as the next storm approaches Colorado from the southwest.
Friday
The southern storm will eventually move over and east of Colorado, once again turning winds to blow from the favorable west and northwest direction. This means that we have a good chance for steadier and/or more intense snowfall from some point later on Friday into Friday night.
Saturday
We should wake up to fresh snow from later Friday and Friday night. The rest of the day could be dry and sunny.
Sunday and beyond
More snow. A cool pattern with a favorable west and northwest wind could hang around through the middle of next week (February 28) with multiple days of light snow totals.
