Update

Like Saturday afternoon, Sunday should bring a mix of sunshine, clouds, and maybe a few light snow showers. Temperatures will rise to about 30°F on Sunday midday.

For the upcoming week, we’ll see three chances for snow on Monday, Wednesday, and maybe around Friday.

The first storm will bring snow from Monday morning through Monday evening. Let’s shoot for 3-6 inches with the softest turns during the midday and afternoon. With good moisture and a wind from the west, we could overshoot this snowfall range, but I like to think in a more realistic way and be happily surprised if the snow total is a little higher.

The second storm should bring some snow from Tuesday night through Wednesday. This system will dive far south of Colorado and this storm track is not usually favorable for big snow totals. Still, we should see a few more inches on Wednesday.

The track of the third storm around Friday or Saturday is not set and thus the storm may bring anything from a burst of intense snow to nothing at all. I’ll keep you posted.

Looking ahead to next weekend, February 1-2, I think it’ll be dry and warm. While it's a low chance, one model shows that snow will continue through the weekend, and I can’t completely rule this out.

Then there is a high chance for the next storm to arrive around Tuesday, February 4th, and there will likely be additional storms through the first two weeks of February.

This is all good news and I hope that you’re enjoying the snow!
