A bit of new snow on Thanksgiving

Summary

There is some fresh snow on Thanksgiving, and another weak storm will arrive on Saturday night.

Update

Wednesday night's storm brought roughly the amount of snow we were looking for with 2 inches at mid-mountain and 4 inches reported at the summit (the summit snow stake can be wind affected and the official summit report is often higher than what is shown on the summit stake). Below is the mid-mountain stake.

Thursday's weather should involve clearing skies with some fresh snow to enjoy in the morning with a high temperature in the 20s.

Friday and Saturday will be dry and sunny with high temperatures in the 30s (Saturday will be a bit cooler than Friday).

Our next chance for a storm will be on Saturday night with 1-4 inches of accumulation, so there should be soft turns on Sunday morning.

For next week, a storm will bring snow on Monday night through Tuesday with powder likely on Tuesday (snowfall in the 4-8+ inch range), and then another storm is possible later in the week around December 1-2.

Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for reading!
