Thanks for a great season!

Summary

Now that Sun Valley has closed for the ski season, this is my last post for the Sun Valley Daily Snow. Please see the message from Sun Valley President/General Manager Tim Silva below. Thanks for a great season everyone!

Short Term Forecast

Extended Forecast

Looking ahead to spring runoff and summer, the latest Idaho snowpack map shows the latest conditions with snow-water equivalent in the snowpack. The La Nina storm pattern favored N. Idaho, the West-Central Mountains and South Side Snake Basins in the winter of 2020-21, but many of the storms steered to the north of the Big and Little Wood Basins and Big Lost Basin. Thank goodness for Sun Valley's world-class snowmaking system. There will be less water for farming, ranching, irrigation, fishing and recreation this summer. Map courtesy NRCS Snow Survey.
