Extended Forecast

The ridge amplifies up into Canada early next week.  Tuesday-Wednesday a system is trying to undercut the ridge into CA.

undercut

We could see precipitation return by Wednesday into Thursday, with another system possible for next Friday.  We will fine-tune the forecast for each system for snowfall and snow levels once they get into the 5-day window.  Right now they don't look that impressive with precip amounts.

Fantasy Range:

The ridge may continue to weaken and shift east through the last week of March, with the trough in the eastern Pacific pushing closer to the West Coast.

trough

The pattern may remain unsettled, with more storms possible through the last week of March.

Stay tuned...BA
