Snow showers hung on yesterday for much of the day in the places.  Finally, the system is fully exited the area and we are left with frigid temps.  Last I checked it was -7F in Park City, -11F in Randolph, and -28.9F in Peter Sinks.  Brrrrr.... 

Today we will warm up as high pressure continues to take control.  Later this week, a system will pass through southern Arizona and spin up some moisture into mainly southern Utah.  We should see an increase in clouds statewide on Thursday and Friday and can't rule out a shower or two in Northern Utah and scattered showers for southern Utah.  Otherwise we are dry for the foreseeable future. 

Next real chance for storms looks to be next week.  An initial storm around December 11th with push onshore and it looks like it will fall apart as it does so.  This looks weak at best.  Both the EC and GFS have a follow-up system for the 13th -- this is likely our next best chance for snow.  So, we have a substantial break in the action.  Hopefully that will just mean a snowy second half of the month!
