Very Weak System Tonight

Summary

A very weak storm will bring the threat for light mountain snow showers tonight in Northern Utah. High pressure takes control for the holiday.

Short Term Forecast

A very weak system will move into the region late today into tonight. We could see some light snow showers in the Wasatch. Accumulations should remain very light. The main impact will be colder temps, clouds, and breezes. Here is the WPC showing meager precip amounts:

High pressure returns by Thanksgiving Day with warming temps over the weekend. No chances for snow through the end of the month after the holiday.

Extended Forecast

A pattern change to some degree still looks likely in early December but the exact timing and nature of the change are still in the air. Hopefully we get some storms but as of right now, there is nothing solid in the 10-day window. We continue to watch and hope!
