Friday freshies at Vail

Summary

Snow fell from late Thursday to early Friday and there should be 3+ inches to enjoy on Friday morning.

Short Term Forecast

Thursday was mostly dry, then the snow started to fall late in the afternoon. The mid-mountain snow stake cam shows that 3 inches accumulated on Thursday night and this should make for some fun turns on the groomers now on Friday morning. Dress warmly as temperatures will be in the 20s throughout the day.

On Friday, Friday night, and Saturday, we could see additional snow showers but I am expecting accumulations to be on the light side

On Sunday's closing day, we should see dry and mostly sunny weather with high temperatures in the 30s.

Extended Forecast

Sadly, there is no extended forecast because the lifts will stop spinning on Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
