Some sun: yes, but snow: no

Update

An upper level low will continue to cause a mix of clouds and sun for Sunday and Monday. There will be little if any new snow with this pattern, but we could see a dusting here and there.

Off-piste snowpack will be variable, with some firm areas. Meanwhile, when the sun comes out, snow will soften on southerly exposures. North facing slopes in the upper alpine should be soft, as temperatures will be cool in the shade.

Tuesday a weak ridge of high pressure will move in. The pattern will favor a mostly sunny day for Whistler.

Wednesday through Friday a weather system from the northwest will combine with another system from the southwest and spread snow into Oregon and Washington. Only a little snowfall will fall in Whistler. This pattern is uncertain pattern, for right now. Details to come, in the meantime rip the groomers.
