New snow coming

Update

A scrawny ridge of high pressure will give way to a weak weather system from the NW on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will mean a combination of a few sunbreaks and mostly cloudy skies for Whistler. There could be a few flurries too.

By late Wednesday and early Thursday a well developed low moves in position to feed moisture into BC. This will mean 3-8” snow falling at Whistler on Thursday and another 2-5” for Friday, with lowering snow levels. That will produce improving snow quality for Friday and the weekend. Expect partial clearing over the weekend, with some sunshine and great groomers. Off piste should be in very good too.
