Weekend snow

Update

There will be a break on Friday as a flat ridge of high pressure moves into the area with partly sunny skies. Groomers will be good, considering the recent snowfall, but reports off-piste have been variable. A new system comes in for Saturday and early Sunday with respectable new snowfall.

Expect to be skiing with snow falling all day on Saturday and with snow continuing, but tapering on Sunday. Snowfall from Saturday to very early Sunday morning will be 4 - 9”  -- and that ain’t bad. Expect more snow during the day on Sunday.  Better quality is coming too. The snow level will be lowering by Sunday for improving snow quality. Groomers and off-piste will be very good. You should favor the north-facing runs for best quality snow.

Next week will see partly sunny skies, with high pressure building in, especially by mid-week, with generally a dry pattern.
