Pattern Change - Big snow Tuesday?

Update

Snow is back on the program for Whistler, but don’t expect much until Tuesday. The high-pressure ridge, creating the recent dry pattern, has flattened and moved south. This will mean an airflow coming from the west or northwest will prevail, with some snow at times mainly on Sunday. Saturday and Monday will see little if any snow. Snow levels will remain low, near or below the Village.

The best chance we have for a significant snowfall is a storm which develops on Tuesday. There could be 10 plus inches of snow, by Wednesday. This could greatly help. I’ll have more details on Tuesday’s storm, by later Sunday or Monday.

After the Tuesday/Wednesday snowstorm, producing respectable snowfall, there is a chance of another dry spell, of undetermined duration - as high pressure builds back into the region.
