Update

Saturday

Temperatures on Saturday morning are warm, in the low-to-mid-20s, and the high temperature should get to about 30F during the early afternoon. Expect more clouds in the morning followed by sunshine later in the day.

Weather for the next week

Sunday will be sunny and warm, then expect more clouds on Monday. On Tuesday, clouds will persist with maybe a light snow shower. On Wednesday and Thursday, a weak storm to our north could bring snow showers with a few inches of accumulation possible. Following a break on Friday, we might see a few more snow showers on Saturday (December 22). None of these storms appear to be significant, though we’ll happily take a few flakes now and again.

The outlook for Christmas and beyond

All of the longer-range models continue to agree that we’ll see a storm around Christmas Eve day, and then the odds for snow should increase just after Christmas Day and the chance for snow will continue to be high through the end of the month. Let’s hope this outlook holds, and I’ll keep you posted with more details as the time gets closer.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
