Winter Park Daily Snow

Significant snow from Thursday night to Sunday

Summary

Warm weather will continue through Thursday midday, and then a series of storms should deliver significant snow from Thursday night through Sunday midday.

Update

Tuesday Night

On Tuesday night, the full moon illuminated the nighttime landscape, with no flash photography required:-)

Wednesday & Thursday

Wednesday and most of Thursday will be dry and warm with high temperatures in the 40s.

Thursday Night to Sunday midday

Starting on Thursday night, the atmosphere will revert to winter mode with multiple storms and significant snow.

The first part of the storm on Thursday night will deliver 1-4 inches of snow.

The second part of the storm on Friday night should drop another 1-4 inches of snow.

Then the third part of the storm from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon should deliver 6-12+ inches of snow.

Temperatures will be cold enough for snow to fall down to the base, though the most enjoyable powder will likely be near and above mid-mountain where temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 20s for most of the storm.

In terms of powder, both Friday morning and Saturday morning could offer some new snow, and then the best chance for deeper powder will be from Sunday morning's first chair through midday.

I'll update again on Friday morning, Saturday morning, and Sunday morning, and while the Mary Jane side of the mountain will stay open into May, my (actual) final post for the season will be on Monday, April 29.
