Halley O’Brien Wins Emmy Award for The Snow Report Show

She won! Halley O’Brien, host of The Snow Report Show, won her first Emmy Award last month. O’Brien was already stoked about her fifth Regional Emmy nomination, but she just raised the bar even higher and took home some serious hardware for her work as on-camera talent.

Check out this message from Halley sharing the good news:

O’Brien writes, hosts, and produces The Snow Report and comes from a heralded career in the snow sports and resorts business.

Earlier this spring, Halley received the North American Snowsports Journalism Association Mitch Kaplan Award, which is "presented to the journalist whose work and spirit best captures the enthusiasm and dedication of the late Mitch Kaplan, NASJA’s former secretary-treasurer."

Season 5 of The Snow Report Show will kick off this October so be sure to check back here on OpenSnow when the temperatures start dropping.

Congrats, Halley!
