Friday
Friday's first chair will have 3 inches of new snow on top of a firm base. On-mountain temperatures are in the upper teens, so dress like it's winter and not spring.
During the day on Friday, another 3-5 inches should accumulate, and a lot of this snow may fall during the late afternoon or early evening. This could create a 'last chair, best chair' type of setup, but I have low confidence in the timing of the snow, so we'll see what happens.
Friday Night & Saturday
On Friday night, the storm will track south of Colorado, and while this isn't ideal for Copper, storm energy will be near the mountain, so there could be another 2-5 inches of accumulation from Friday late afternoon through midnight.
On Saturday, plan for at least some new snow on the ground for first chair, with a high temperature in the 20s and some times of sunshine.
Longer Range
Sunday's weather should be pretty darn good with a high temperature in the 30s and partly-to-mostly sunny skies.
Then, during the final two weeks of April, there could be showers around April 21-22 and maybe a slightly stronger storm around April 28-30.
Remember that the mountain will be open for a while longer, with closing day on May 11th.
