Friday Recap
The storm dropped about 3 inches of snow on Thursday night, then 8 inches fell on Friday, and finally, another 3 inches accumulated on Friday late afternoon and evening, after the lifts closed.
The setup for this storm wasn't perfect for Copper, but that push on Friday midday created real powder.
Saturday
On Saturday morning, there will be 3+ inches of fresh snow on top of the soft snow that was ridden on Friday, and the snow quality should be excellent as temperatures are chilly, only in the teens. Enjoy it!
Weatherwise, Saturday will be a mixed day with some clouds and flurries in the morning, some sunshine, and also a few snow showers developing during the afternoon and evening. The high temperature will be in the 20s.
Longer Range
Sunday's weather should be pretty darn good with a high temperature in the 30s and partly-to-mostly sunny skies.
Then, during the final two weeks of April, there could be showers around April 21-22 and maybe a slightly stronger storm around April 28-30. High temperatures for the final two weeks of April will generally be in the 30s to low 40s.
Remember that the mountain will be open for a while longer, with closing day on May 11th.
