Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Winter Park Daily Snow

Update

Sunday was dry and sunny with soft snow across the mountain.

Monday and Monday night

A weak storm will bring light snow through the day on Monday and on Monday night. This storm will lack moisture, but other factors, including a favorable wind from the northwest, instability on Monday afternoon, and the jet stream on Monday night should allow the atmosphere to drop 1-4 inches of snow. Cold temperatures will keep conditions soft on Monday, and if enough of the snow falls on Monday night, then Tuesday morning could be a sneaky fun midweek powder day!

Tuesday

We will see dry, cold weather on Tuesday with a high temperature around 10-15F. The morning could offer sneaky fun powder (see above).

Wednesday

A weak system will move across northern Colorado and Winter Park might be able to eke out a few flakes to an inch of snow.

Thursday and Friday

A storm will move over New Mexico, and this storm track is usually much too far south to bring significant snow to Winter Park. Expect some snow showers with light accumulations and high temperatures in the 20s.

Saturday (December 8) to Tuesday (December 11)

Aside from lingering snow showers early in the weekend, we should see dry and sunny weather during this time.

Storms return around December 12

All forecast models are staying consistent in their expectation that snow should return to Colorado starting around Wednesday, December 12th with the opportunity for storms to continue through the middle of December. The first storm around the 12th could drop too far south to bring much snow to Winter Park, but additional storms after this one could be more favorable.
