The high-pressure ridge in the west should retreat late this week, with a cold front due for the PNW by Saturday. Moisture will favor Canada and the PNW this weekend and slowly drag into the Rockies, allowing decent totals behind the cold front. While precipitation is not significant in the Rockies, the cold front could bring a few upside surprises.

A cold airmass will remain over the East this week with frequent snow showers for the Great Lakes and New England. A more widespread snow event is also expected later in the week. The West will be quiet this week with dry conditions and warmer temperatures. Storms will impact Northern BC and Alaska but rain

Some fog and clouds on Sunday. Mostly sunny each day through the extended period. The next chance for a storm may not be until around mid-month.

We are transitioning into a drier weather pattern which could last into the 2nd week of December.
