Avalanche Forecasts are for use by experienced backcountry travelers in uncontrolled sidecountry and backcountry terrain. These forecasts and conditions do not apply to open, in-bounds terrain at ski resorts, which is subject to avalanche control by local resort ski patrol.

Snowpack Discussion
The snow surface is highly variable. Exposed terrain is wind affected, steep south slopes have a crust and east facing slopes may have deep wind deposited snow.
The snowpack depth varies greatly as well, windward slopes may only have 50 cm on them while leeward slopes could have as much as 150 cm.
