Wednesday and Wednesday night will deliver snow for some resorts in the Midwest, offering up some turns in fresh snow. The fresh snow will also improve groomed surfaces, offering a nice refresh.
The Cottonwoods and areas of Park City, Parleys Summit, grabbed cold air and the perfect NW winds that cranked out impressive totals. 2 Feet fell in the Cottonwoods. Moisture streamed into Colorado favoring the resorts from Telluride to Steamboat with leftovers stretching east over the I-70 corridor. Cascades fire next.
Two more storms will impact the West from Wednesday to Saturday with snow favoring the Northwest and the Rockies, and snow conditions will remain excellent. A significant warming trend will begin on Sunday, however. In the East, snow is in the forecast for New England this weekend and early next week.
