        Still On Track

        1 day ago Matthew Platt

The overnight produced solid results with 3.5 inches at Bogus and a bit less at Tamarack and Brundage. Overall not a bad way to start off the storm cycle. I don't see much need to change my last forecast, but the timing has become a bit clearer on the temperature changes.

Heavy snow coming through Sunday, 1-3 feet forecast

        1 day ago Steve Stuebner

Forecasts are holding true for back-to-back snow storms Friday-Sunday statewide, with copious amounts of snow expected. Schweitzer, Silver and Lookout will get 1-2 feet of snow by Sunday. Bogus, Brundage, Tamarack and Pomerelle could get 2-3 feet by Sunday. Then twin AR systems move into the region and cause a dramatic warm-up, sending snow levels above ski area summits Mon-Tues. Might be messy!

Deep Storm Cycle for the Northwest and the Rockies

        1 day ago Alan Smith

A series of storms will bring much-needed heavy snow to the Northwest and the Rockies from Friday to Monday, though some areas will see a changeover from snow to rain during the latter stages of this event. The East will also remain in an active pattern with uncertainty regarding a possible snow event in New England on Sunday-Monday, while the Mid-Atlantic could also see some snow next week.
