Snow for Thursday into Thursday night. More rain and snow showers Friday night into Friday night, with some heavier snow Saturday and showers into Saturday night. A break on Sunday. A final weak system is expected to bring light snow by Monday afternoon in Monday night. A drier pattern is possible starting Tuesday.

The West will see some welcome snow late this week and into the weekend after a drier start to December. A weak storm will move through on Thursday followed by a stronger storm Friday-Sunday. The Sierra (including Tahoe), Cascades, BC, and Northern Rockies will be favored for the deepest snow totals. The East will see rain & some snow Wed-Thu & again early next week with a warmer airmass in place.

We will stay high and dry through the middle of the month. Temps will be mild and mixed in with some gusty winds. By the middle of the month our chances for precip go up, but the odds of anything meaningful is still too far out to say.
