The first wave of storm activity hit Silver with 11" as of Monday AM and 12"-16" at Lookout while Schweitzer got 2" on Sunday. The storm will hit farther south during the ski/ride day Monday, dropping 5" at Brundage and Tamarack, and 4" at Bogus, Sun Valley, Pom and Pebble. A second Low Pressure trough approaches Idaho mid-week, and it looks potent - 1-2 feet by Thursday/Friday! We shall see!

24-hour snow totals are very respectable for the Tetons and areas of Utah on Tuesday morning. Additional snow heavy at times is likely for Colorado on Tuesday with strong winds and low visibility (Light-density snow). The PNW gets crushed in the next 36 hours.

Multiple strong storms will bring heavy snow to much of the West over the next week with the Northwest being favored for the deepest totals. Strong winds can also be expected at times. The East will see a milder pattern with mostly rain and only light snow opportunities.
