Dry conditions will prevail Tue-Wed, then we will head into a more active pattern late this week and beyond. First, a weaker storm will bring light snow to Southern BC on Thu-Fri, with a stronger storm on Sat-Sun that will bring heavy snow along with low snow levels. Additional storms are likely next week, but we'll need to keep an eye on rising temperatures.

An active pattern is setting up for the Sierra Range, with one moderate cold storm on Thursday and a wetter but warmer storm due Friday PM/Saturday. Moisture streams north into the Pacific Northwest and BC, with some decent totals later this weekend. Leftovers favor Idaho and Wyoming, as most moisture stays north of Utah and Colorado, which grab lower totals. The extended has some hope!

A storm brought moderate to heavy snow to the Northwest and New England over the weekend. Over the next few days, the Rockies will only see light snow as a storm moving across the West falls apart. The East will see a big warm-up with rain on Monday-Tuesday followed by a changeover back to snow on Wednesday as colder air arrives.
