There might not be any perfect chase based on winds, temperatures, or deepness. The deepest totals will fall in the central and northern Sierras, followed by south coastal BC near Whistler. Wind and temperature swings could cause issues. The North Rockies look better for less wind and colder temps with 8-16 inches.

A storm remains on track for the weekend. Since my last post, the storm has trended a little stronger for the Coast Range including Whistler, and a little weaker for the Interior with Whitewater and Red favored versus other parts of the Interior. Sat & Sun will both have fresh snow on the slopes, with Sun AM being best at Whistler. Additional snow is likely next week with temps trending warmer.

A storm remains on track for the West from Friday to Sunday with the deepest snow totals favoring the Sierra, Cascades, BC Coast Range, and Northern Rockies. A weaker storm will move across the West early next week, followed by a warming/drying trend through Christmas. The East will see a mild pattern with more rain than snow through early next week, followed by a colder pattern late next week.
