Our warmest stretch of the year so far with high pressure bringing out the sun and sending temperatures soaring this week. Next chance for a storm will be a weak disturbance for Friday into Saturday. Additional chances for snow next week look likely.
It will be a nice Sunday to get out and grab the two-part storm that hit Colorado Saturday and Saturday night. It's snowing in BC and WA. Temperatures in the west soar, especially by midweek when snow levels in BC hit 7000 feet and in the Rockies above 10,000 feet. Look for summer-like conditions. It will be colder late next week, with snow likely favoring the PNW and BC. Leftovers in the Rockies
Another storm will impact the West on Fri-Sat, bringing more snow to the Northwest and the Rockies with continued excellent late-season skiing conditions. Starting Sun, a much warmer airmass will take hold over the West with spring skiing conditions taking hold for many areas, while the Northwest will see rain. In the East, New England will see a colder pattern with several shots of snow.
Thanks for reading this summer! For the rest of this week, a cold front moving across the Central Rockies will bring showers & t-storms to WY, CO, & NM Wed-Thu while the West Coast states will see a late-season heat wave. Next week, isolated to scattered showers & t-storms develop across the West with continued mild temps. Heading into mid-month, the PNW will trend wetter and cooler.
