More Snow Sunday, Major Spike in Snow Levels Monday

        20 hours ago Alan Smith

Snowfall on Saturday favored the Interior with snow totals ranging from 4-25 cm based on limited reports. The next wave will move through on Sunday with Revelstoke likely to see the highest totals. On Mon-Tue, subtropical moisture arrives with snow changing to rain in most areas, while the upper portions of Revy & Kicking Horse will see wet snow. A colder storm Wed looks to favor Fernie.

Deep Storm Cycle for the Northwest and the Rockies

        3 days ago Alan Smith

A series of storms will bring much-needed heavy snow to the Northwest and the Rockies from Friday to Monday, though some areas will see a changeover from snow to rain during the latter stages of this event. The East will also remain in an active pattern with uncertainty regarding a possible snow event in New England on Sunday-Monday, while the Mid-Atlantic could also see some snow next week.
