Snow continues now in the warmer section of this long-duration storm. Snowfall totals across northern Utah mountains are impressive already with more to fall before we wrap up on Monday. Another storm is looking likely for later this week.

The epic storm has thus far dropped 10-20 inches in the Cascades, and up to 18 inches in the Wasatch, with resorts in Colorado reporting 9-12 inches. The heaviest dump is yet to come! Snorkel Alert is hoisted, but bring 2 pairs since the transition will be dry to wet.

A series of storms will bring much-needed heavy snow to the Northwest and the Rockies from Friday to Monday, though some areas will see a changeover from snow to rain during the latter stages of this event. The East will also remain in an active pattern with uncertainty regarding a possible snow event in New England on Sunday-Monday, while the Mid-Atlantic could also see some snow next week.
