There are three storms to watch. The initial phase hits the Sierra Thursday with moderate, decent-quality powder. The second surge of moisture brings in warmer, windier, and deeper snow for the Sierra on Saturday. The PNW and BC will grab heavy snowfall, favoring the north. Central Idaho, the Wasatch, and the Tetons should nab 5-11 inches this weekend, initially warm, followed by cooling.

Three storms will impact Utah over the next 6 days. Unfortunately, two of them look to be on the weaker side with a moderate storm sandwiched between. Still, some fresh snow will be there to be ridden.

The West will see some welcome snow late this week and into the weekend after a drier start to December. A weak storm will move through on Thursday followed by a stronger storm Friday-Sunday. The Sierra (including Tahoe), Cascades, BC, and Northern Rockies will be favored for the deepest snow totals. The East will see rain & some snow Wed-Thu & again early next week with a warmer airmass in place.
