It's another wet weekend in Southcentral Alaska! This time, snow levels should bring snow to the lower mountain, but not quite sea level. The strongest accumulation comes on Saturday night, making for a powdery Sunday, but wind-sheltered slopes above 1500' will feature the best snow. Snow arrives to Hatcher Pass on Sunday. Precipitation relaxes on Monday, with more storms arriving next week.

The coldest air of the season will be knocking on the Rockies by later Friday through Monday. Snow amounts stay light to moderate, with a few spots near Boulder or the Divide north of I-70 on watch. The extended offers some hope.
