A warm front with precipitation begins in the PNW later this week/weekend, followed by a cold front. Precipitation spreads to inland BC and south to both the WA and OR Cascades before heading into the Rockies. As far as chasing powder, there won't be an ideal chase due to rising snow levels. The Rockies offer colder temps with many opportunities to chase light or moderate snow totals.

A cold airmass will remain over the East this week with frequent snow showers for the Great Lakes and New England. A more widespread snow event is also expected later in the week. The West will be quiet this week with dry conditions and warmer temperatures. Storms will impact Northern BC and Alaska but rain

Lake effect snow will continue on Monday and Tuesday, extending further into interior areas of the northern Mid-Atlantic. 6-20 inches is expected across these areas with the heaviest snow in the northwestern Mid-Atlantic. A weak storm will bring light snow to the northern half of the Mid-Atlantic late Wednesday into Thursday. Snowmaking continues across the Mid-Atlantic this week!
