Light snow/wintry mix Tues-Wed, sunny skies Thurs-Sunday1 day ago Steve Stuebner
The Low pressure trough off to our west-southwest is sending light moisture, windy conditions and unstable weather Tues-Wed in the Idaho mountains. Schweitzer looks to stay cool enough for 1-3" of new snow Tuesday, while snow levels are rising to mid-mountain at Silver and Lookout for a wintry mix. Could be some thunder too. About 1" is expected elsewhere Tues-Wed. Skies clear Thursday-Sunday.
Unsettled Through Thursday1 day ago Bob Ambrose
An upper-level trough circulating off the California coast creating an Atmospheric River into the West Coast will continue to eject a light stream of weak pulses of moisture into the Northern Rockies Tues through Thurs. Daily light accumulations are possible, mainly west, with more sun mixed in the east of the Divide. Ridging on Friday and Saturday, before a major pattern change begins late Sun.
Utah/Colorado Update 5AM14 hours ago Powderchaser Steve
My previous update Tuesday evening is holding up with less snow falling in the Cottonwoods, with higher totals likely for Brian Head in the south or Beaver Mountain up north. Snow showers will continue in many mountain locations of Utah with lots of uncertainty due to the unorganized nature of convective bands.

Storms early this week have favored the Sierra and the Central Rockies. Snow will continue across Utah & Colorado on Wed-Thu before drying out late in the week. A strong storm will impact Western Canada and the Northwest U.S. Sunday-Monday with impacts spreading southward across much of the Western U.S. on Monday. New England will also pick up some snow on Friday.
