Warm and dry for the most part this week. The next chance for appreciable precipitation will be next week when a storm will bring chances for mountain snow to Utah prior to Halloween.

21 inches at Wolf Creek last weekend with the first resort to announce an opening date this week. As forecasted the low pressure that stalled over the 4 corners is now sliding east and north impacting the central and northern ranges of Colorado. Next week could be deep!

The Southern Rockies will see a break in the pattern this week after receiving heavy snow over the weekend. Overall, warmer temperatures are expected across the Lower 48, though weaker storms will bring light rain & snow to the Northwest at times. A stronger storm will begin to impact the Pacific NW this weekend, with the potential for a colder & more active pattern across the West next week.
