    3 minutes ago Alan Smith

A cold front will slide down the eastern side of the Rockies from Thu to Sat with showers & thunderstorms favoring areas near and east of the Divide. Areas west of the Divide will see more isolated storms with light rain, though Western CO could see early AM storms on Thu. Next week, the Northern Rockies could see another uptick in storms while the monsoon slowly returns to the Southwest.

Final Post of the 2024-2025 Season

    2 months ago Alan Smith

The winter of 2024-2025 featured near to above average snowfall across the Sierra, Central/Northern Rockies, and much of the East. Snowpack is currently melting at a faster rate than usual across much of the West due to warmer and drier conditions so far in April. Looking ahead, a storm will bring high-elevation snow showers to the Sierra & the Rockies from late this week through early next week.
