        Snow Friday, Cold Weekend

        1 hour ago Sam Collentine

Mild and dry Tuesday through Thursday. Snow returns late Thursday night, with the heart of the storm moving through on Friday. Additional chances for snow late in the weekend and into early next week. Dry again during the second half of next week.

        Some powder likely on Friday

        1 hour ago Joel Gratz

Tuesday through Thursday will be dry, and our next storm will bring snow from Thursday night to Friday night. The storm's timing means that snow reports could be close to zero on Friday morning, then snow will accumulate and conditions will get softer throughout the day on Friday and perhaps through Saturday morning. For now, I'll stick with my 4-8 inch forecast.

There are 3 systems to watch. The first will come into the PNW as early as Tuesday night dragging some light snow into the Rockies and even the northern Sierra by Thursday The 2nd system will increase snowfall totals in the PNW Thursday providing the Rockies and perhaps the Sierra better odds. Deeper snow hits the PNW Saturday/Sunday with colder temps. There are chases!

West Scores Deep Totals, New England Also Doing Well

        1 day ago Alan Smith

A series of storms impacted the Northwest and the Rockies over the weekend, resulting in deep snow totals. Warmer air arriving early this week will result in heavy rain across the Northwest, before colder air and snow return later this week. In the East, a storm is producing snow across New England on Monday, and the Mid-Atlantic will see a shot of snow this week, too.
