A few resorts remain open, and at least a few more rounds of rain and high-elevation snow are expected this week. Accumulations will be confined to upper elevations, but there will be additional opportunities for some soft turns. The models keep the active pattern going in the long range as well.

The storm last week delivered more snow than expected, but came with a host of problems, including high avalanche danger and power outages. The upper elevation snowpack has benefited greatly, and more snow is forecasted for this week. This will be the final forecast post of the season, and I'll have a brief season recap post early next week.
