Snow has developed across the northern French Alps and quickly spread farther east into Switzerland and Austria. There are no signs of weakening with this storm and the northern/western Alps will get pumped through Tuesday night.

The first of two storms moved through from Thursday through this (Friday) morning, dropping a solid amount of low-density snow. We'll have a quick break Friday night and early Saturday before a major storm arrives on Saturday night.
