Snow showers continue on Thursday and Friday before a stormy storm with two waves moves through the state from Friday night through Monday. More snow showers are possible early next week followed by a few more storms as this snowy stretch continues.

2-3 foot snow totals have departed the Sierra with up to 20 inches in Utah. The northern Rockies are stuck in the 5-9 inch range, with Colorado grabbing the leftovers Friday. Another storm hits the Sierra on Friday/Saturday, with the PNW, Idaho, and northern Rockies scoring significant totals. Chase Chase Chase

An active pattern will continue across the West with multiple strong storms expected this weekend and next week. All major ski regions from the Southwest to Canada are favored. The East will remain in a spring-like pattern with rain expected on Sunday.
